- You will work with our team in Sydney and Manila to ensure tax returns are logged in an accurate and timely manner
- Document and take custody of procedures
- Proactively assist in the management of our clients, while reporting to Managers and above
- Set up processors to be across changes to tax guidelines and legislation and implement changes with the team
- Collecting, verifying, identifying outstanding information, and filing and notifying engagement team when complete
- Receiving, sorting, processing, and inputting tax return forms
- Preparing E-filing tax returns, including clearing diagnostics, submission of returns, clearing rejections, filing confirmations, engagement team notification
- Understanding the process workflows related to work requests from initiation through completion
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to present to clients and management
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and analytical ability
- Over 2 years of tax experience
- Management of US tax experience (income tax, Corporate tax, sales tax, use tax, 5472, tax depreciation) is highly favourable
- Experience in tax software solutions

The ideal consultant will have experience in analysing, extracting, and mapping data from various ERP’s and integrating to our primary application systems. Your Alteryx data analytical skills will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:

- Execute analytical projects from solution design and data integrity evaluation through solution documentation and implementation.
- Collaborate with internal and external clients to determine the appropriate analysis parameters and performance measures to be applied, as well as requirements for decision tool and strategy implementation and monitoring.
- Interpret results of analyses, identifies trends and issues and recommends alternatives to support business objectives.
- Serve as an analytical consultant for complex client deliveries/implementation.
- Support the development of new analytical and data products and services, and the enhancement of current processes and offerings.
- Identifies and secures additional opportunities with clients.
- Executes projects in support of the direct revenue goal for Experian, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Support field sales force and marketing organization by providing analytical and consulting expertise.
- Support the senior management of the department to meet the established company goals.

- Highly motivated, energetic, and positive attitude
- A proven track record for managing project teams, managing complex analytical projects, and setting decision strategies and policies
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Alteryx
- A degree in finance, economics or statistics is preferred
- Deep knowledge of analytical techniques and decision tools
- Statistical modelling / data analysis experience including data manipulation experience (SAS, SQL, R, or Python) preferred.
- The ability to present to all levels of management within Experian and to our clients
- Understanding of advanced analytical techniques such as machine learning for predictive data analytics, data mining and visualization.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain Vertex system including tax rule setup and tax calculation verification
- Support on Vertex system version management
- Analyze customer requirements and tailor the use of the system to meet those objectives.
- Develop project plans and timelines to successfully deploy solutions and assist with data conversion; Perform unit or integration testing as needed
- Motivated formulate process improvements resulting from support issues, with the aim of minimizing recurring support.
- Provide strategic guidance to users in defining or designing processes to meet customer requirements; document existing customer business processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend system improvements and provide backup for Vertex consultants as needed
- Monitor and report on the status of any issues, proactively review and interpret performance against operating standards; provide information and reports results.
- Serves as the primary on-call support person for trouble shooting and correcting system issues
- Full Lifecycle Vertex implementation, especially integration with SAP
- Experience with Sales and Use Tax process

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related discipline with an information technology focus highly favourable
- 2+ years of experience as a process consultant or similar role,
- Knowledge and experience of delivering projects in an agile framework is beneficial
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skill
- Knowledge of US Tax process is beneficial
- In-depth technical knowledge working with SAP
- Project management experience that involves conceptualizing, organizing, planning, executing test, training users and documenting training materials.
